About This Role
Whitehaven Coal is seeking experienced OCE Supervisors to play a vital role in leading our Tarrawonga Mine Operations. We are looking for a results-oriented leader with outstanding communication skills who is ready to embrace the challenges and rewards that come with this dynamic role.
The successful incumbent will be offered a 7/7 roster and paid camp accommodation during their allocated roster period.
What You'll Do Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mining and plant efficiency. Oversee production targets and coal quality, and assist in production planning. Perform statutory inspections for open-cut operations. Supervise and guide mining crews, including delivering pre-shift briefings and managing shift plans. Play a key role in fostering a positive and collaborative organizational culture. What You'll Bring The successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of mining legislation, safety, and environmental systems, along with expertise in open-cut mining techniques.
