ABOUT THE ROLE The primary purpose of the Material Coordinator role is to coordinate a team of Warehouse Officers performing the function of inventory management within the Darwin Supply Base.
This includes coordination of material processing & shipping from warehouse to offshore facilities, aligning with company and client processes.
Specific Responsibilities Coordinate a team of Warehouse Officers to deliver safe and efficient operations Loading and unloading of freight Quality assurance inspections of supplied materials and equipment Materials management, staging and goods receipting using SAP MM systems Receive and coordinate material requests and points of enquiry from stakeholders Analyse, report and investigate material discrepancies Creating and control of non-conformance reports in SAP Coordination of materials to offshore facilities Liaising with vendors, engineering and maintenance departments Proactively communicate within the supply chain stakeholders to meet customer requirements Processing stock transfers & return deliveries from offshore Amending work orders, processing stock transfer requisitions and transport orders Ensure quarantine compliance, dangerous goods storage, handling and transportation is carried out safely and in accordance with relevant policies and regulations Stock pick reports and processing of goods issues Packing materials for offshore transport as per Co R Manifesting using Offshore Logistics Management in SAP Project and shutdown materials management Running materials and material status reports in SAP Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports Ensuring compliance of warehousing procedures Undertake spot check audits on warehouse process & procedures Monitor, report, and rectify all inbound / outbound Co R non-conformance events to ensure safe movement of material in the supply chain and industry best practice of load restraint is integrated and observed within the operation Qualifications and Experience High risk forklift ticket Experience using SAP, SAP Hanna or similar MM systems Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment Experience in the same or a similar position Certificate III or IV Warehouse Operations Current Australian Driver's Licence (Car) Current Forklift Licence (LF) Dangerous Goods Awareness and qualified in transport of DG by Road, Air & Sea Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet Qube Energy expectations Minimum of X years office experience Knowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth/State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment Ability to work well within a small team environment Desirable IMDG IATA Dogman License Load Restraint Training Chain of Responsibility qualification Key Competencies/Skills Excellent customer focus and able to consistently meet Qube Energy expectations Effectively manages change to tasks and the work environment, and assists others with adapting to change.
