This opportunity will be available on a permanent part-time basis working across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs for children aged 5 – 12 years old.
As an OOSH Educator you are expected to be an active member of a team which provides high quality childhood education and care to children.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA Experience in an OOSH service Computer literacy in order to document examples of learning stories Experience in sport directional coaching (desirable) The ability to engage with children through playing a musical instrument (desirable) Knowledge and practice of a second language (desirable) The ability to incorporate relaxing / meditation or yoga techniques (desirable) QUALIFICATIONS Certificate III in Children's Services or Certificate IV in School Age Education as identified by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority or be studying towards and early childhood or Primary Teaching qualification Working with Children Check verification number Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (desirable) Food Handler Basics Training (desirable) If you genuinely share our passion for Childhood Education we would love to hear from you!
