Our Lady of Mercy Catholic College is looking for a full time, temporary Science teacher for 2025. We encourage recent graduates to apply for this position.

About You
As aScience Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Science. The ability to teach additional subjects is advantageous. We encourage recent graduates to apply
utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
You will have attained:
a tertiary qualification in Education
eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
