This position offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with children, birth parents and foster carers, as well as involvement in the recruitment, assessment and training of new carers.Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology or related disciplinePrevious experience in case managementFlexible working hours including some evenings and weekendsDemonstrated ability to write reports to a professional standard with excellent verbal and written skillsAbility to work as a part of a team and independentlyDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applicationsDemonstrated conflict resolution skills and experience managing difficult behavioursKnowledge of therapeutic care frameworksKnowledge and experience in the Permanency Support ProgramTwo years' experience working with children and families and/or in the OOHC fieldKnowledge of the children's court system and required court documentationRemunerationSalary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010.
