Peter Mac is a leading cancer research and treatment centre. We are seeking two Postdoctoral Scientists to join the Neeson Lab to explore novel CAR-T cell strategies to improve outcomes in patients with solid cancers.
Our team is focused on developing new immunotherapy strategies to treat cancer patients. As a Postdoctoral Scientist, you will contribute to our research in the human tumour immune microenvironment (TIME) and use gene editing approaches to devise novel combination treatments with immunotherapy.
Key responsibilities: Explore novel CAR-T cell strategies to improve outcomes in patients with solid cancersUse gene editing approaches and in vitro and in vivo models to address current hurdles to CAR-T cell efficacy in solid tumoursContribute to the design and implementation of research projectsSupervise undergraduate and postgraduate students and technical staffRequirements: PhD in immunology, molecular biology, protein engineering or cancer cell biologyStrong background in cancer researchExcellent research skills and experience in immunology and molecular biologyAbout us: Peter Mac is a world-leading cancer research and treatment centre.
