Senior Change, Communications and Training Officer About the team:
The successful candidate will primarily be required to work across two change priorities across the Office:
National Student OmbudsmanThe National Student Ombudsman (NSO) is a new function within the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman.
The NSO will commence on 1 February 2025 and accept complaints from higher education students on matters such as:
The establishment of the NSO function has required significant recruitment and process design to create a modern, trauma-informed dispute resolution service suitable for the jurisdiction.

Case and Client Relationship Management (CRM) ProjectThe Office is replacing its existing Case and Client Relationship Management (CRM) system with a new system.
The CRM Project has been established to implement this change.
The CRM Project Team is driving this change, which will:
We have partnered with an external vendor to support the implementation of the new system.
As part of this, that vendor will support the design of the new processes and user experience, and will deploy the new system progressively across the organisation.
Further, the vendor will deliver a train-the-trainer model of training to a group of super users to upskill key staff in the new system, and will support the development of key training tools for upskilling of staff across the Office.
Following which the project change team, led by the Senior Change, Communications and Training Officer, will need to deliver the training required to approximately 400 staff.
