Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead and oversee operations at our Camp in Moranbah. This role involves a high degree of autonomy and requires a skilled leader to manage day-to-day activities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the facility operates efficiently and effectively. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have full P&L responsibility and play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service and compliance.
This role can FIFO or DIDO from Brisbane.
The roster for this role is 2 weeks on 2 weeks off.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Leadership & P&L Management: Manage facility operations including people, maintenance, logistics, assets, and financials. Ensure budget alignment, revenue growth, high occupancy, and operational efficiency. Compliance & Safety: Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct toolboxes, audits, inspections, and ensure food safety standards. Monitor safety performance metrics (TRIFR, AIFR). Customer Satisfaction & Quality Management: Ensure high customer satisfaction and product quality. Track KPIs, handle complaints, and drive improvements based on feedback. Team Collaboration & Development: Collaborate with the Fixed Camp Operations team and VN Executive. Oversee workforce planning, performance reviews, and training. Ensure BMS and ISO 9001 compliance. Employee Management & Development: Mentor onsite staff, promote career growth, and maintain a high-performance culture. Address turnover and identify future leaders. BMS & Risk Management: Follow BMS policies, assess risks, and implement control measures. Maintain certifications and timely reporting. Qualifications & Competencies:
Mandatory: Business qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field. RSA or RMLV and Food Safety Supervisor Certification or ability to obtain. Management experience in a catering or accommodation role with over 500 rooms and kitchen/bar facilities. Hands-on experience in daily operations and diverse teams. Knowledge of the workforce camp industry or mining, oil, and gas sectors. Experience with client contracts, tender submissions, and procurement. Familiarity with HACCP and HSEQ requirements within resources or hospitality sectors. Experience with integrated management systems, risk management, invoicing, payroll, and accommodation bookings. Proficiency in rostering systems (e.g., Clock Me In App, Employment Hero). #J-18808-Ljbffr
