Ohs Co-Ordinator (Compliance)

Our client, based in Collie , is currently looking for an OHS Compliance Co-Ordinator to ensure they continue meeting operational safety needs.
The Role
Reporting to the OHS Superintendent, the OHS Co-Ordinator will be responsible for monitoring safety compliance and proactively promoting hazard awareness and controlling risk throughout the mining operation. The role also involves assisting with the implementation of environmental policies and programs.
The Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety A demonstrated work history within occupational health and safety, including leadership experience Proven experience in heavy industry, mining or environmental sectors A strong understanding of occupational health and safety legislation and the ability to educate and guide others in its application The Details
