About the roleJoin our Property team at Officeworks as a Property Renewal Leasing Executive and join a highly engaged and high performing team who love what they do.
Reporting to the National Leasing Manager, you will look after lease renewals, negotiating market rent reviews, instructing valuers and external legal and interpretation of lease clauses for our Stores, Fulfilment Centres and Support office network. Your attention to detail and expert negotiation skills will be essential as you keep track of key dates and collaborate closely with our Store Development and Construction teams. You'll assess renewal proposals against business objectives and present your recommendations to the board.

As a Property Renewal Leasing Executive, you will: Negotiate market rents and lease terms, instructing external lawyers for lease documentation, and conducting store condition assessments.Support the Property team with rental assessments and ensuring compliance with lease obligations, while building relationships with landlords.Provide advice on lease clauses to stakeholders and assisting the National Lease Manager with reporting and budget tasks as needed.Maintain the property lease management system (PEPS+) and relevant databases, ensuring accuracy of lease terms and contact details.About youYou are commercially focused, detail-oriented, and possess expert negotiation skills. With a strong knowledge in property and leases from a retail role, you excel in managing leases and relationships. Your excellent communication skills help you interpret complex agreements, while your ability to analyse market trends supports strategic recommendations. You effectively handle multiple tasks and ensure compliance with lease obligations, contributing to successful property management outcomes. In addition, you will have:
4+ years' experience working within a similar role in a retail environment.Excellent report writing, research, negotiation and communication skills.Knowledge of compliance and legal requirements.Strong excel skills with knowledge of PEPs or PEPs+ system an advantage but not essential.Our cultureIt's all in a day's work when you're part of the Officeworks community – where you're not defined by who you are, but what you can do.
