About the role The International Admissions Officer supports the recruitment and international student admission functions through the assessment of admission applications, production of correspondence, data entry and related administrative tasks.
The position also handles enquiries, provides advice to students, education agents, UNE staff and external bodies on various matters related to the admission of international students.
About you To be successful in this role, you will have: A degree, or completion of a diploma with subsequent relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Excellent customer service and communication skills with experience working with a diverse range of people and cultures at various levels.
The ability to analyse information and prepare reports.
The ability to interpret and implement legislation, policies and procedures.
High level experience with a range of software including Microsoft Office and student information systems.
About the Faculty/Group The role of UNE International is to meet the University's objectives in relation to the recruitment, admission and support of UNE's international students.
The primary focus of UNE International is to increase international student enrolments (on and offshore); develop UNE's Pathways and Advanced Standing relationships; manage visa risk and agent relationships; enhance collaboration with Faculties to build their international programs; increase outbound mobility; and ensure compliance with legislative and peak body requirements relevant to international students.
