POSITION DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARYWorking as part of the Mai Wiru team at Maylands, the Office Manager provides administration support to both the Finance team and Mai Wiru Management. This is a varied role and acts as a central contact for the Maylands office. It is therefore important the Office Manager operates from the Maylands office as much as possible, ideally five days per week. Office hours are flexible and can be negotiated with the right candidate. Specific job functions include but are not limited to, processing credit card statements, travel bookings, basic account reconciliations and assisting the Finance team with administrative tasks. The position will play an important role in the efficient running of the Maylands office.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
To perform day-to-day administrative work within the office. Assist payment processing, and minor bank reconciliations in Xero. Travel bookings for various Mai Wiru staff. Oversee and respond to emails, correspondence and enquiries. Assist with data entry from time to time. Assist Finance Manager with balance sheet reconciliations. Monitor and arrange payment of motor vehicle registrations. Implement and improve internal office procedures and systems. Ad hoc office-related problem-solving. Assist the Finance team as directed. All other duties as directed by senior management from time to time.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated experience in working collaboratively. Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision.
