About you
You are an experienced Office Manager with the ability to manage the smooth running of the Institute, overseeing the broader administrative support to maximise the efficiency of operations.
You will have demonstrated experience working collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.


The role
The Office Manager is a hands-on role that is responsible for supporting senior executives and managers, as well as ensuring the smooth running of the day-to-day management of the Administration Team.

In particular, the Officer Manager will:

Manage the Administration function of the Institute, including the management of five direct reports
Coordinate planning for seminars 
Management of records, including archiving and offsite storage
Manage bookings for international and domestic travel, including accommodation, flights and car hire
Manage catering and contractor management for internal and external events and functions
Provide back-up to the Administration team including executive and clinical assistance

At least 3 years' experience in office management, including the management of a team
Tertiary studies in Business Administration, or other relevant qualification
Demonstrated ability in developing and managing information and office systems to maximise efficiency
Advanced skills in office-based computer packages, including the Microsoft Office suiteExperience and confidence managing, coordinating, leading and motivating teams.Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to facilitate relationships with a wide range of stakeholdersSound knowledge of, and demonstrated ability in, budget monitoring and cost control
Experience working in a research centre general practice or not-for-profit organisation
Proficiency in front desk and patient management systems (Helix), HPOS services, PRODA, Medicare
