Become Our OfficeManager – Drive Excellence andCollaboration! We're seeking anOffice Manager to the Minister for Trade and Investment, Ministerfor Local Government and Minister for Veterans' Affairs whowill lead and manage the administrative functions, ensuring smoothand efficient operations. This is a unique opportunity tocontribute to a dynamic office and make a significantimpact.
In this role, you will beresponsible for overseeing the administrative structures, systems,and processes that support the office's effectivefunctioning. You will formulate, implement, monitor, and evaluatehuman resource management, IT, financial, and other relatedfunctions. Additionally, you will manage obligations related toCabinet and Parliamentary business and Freedom of Informationrequests, providing high-level advisory and administrative supportto the Minister, Chief of Staff, and Advisers.

You will overseethe work of administration officers within the office to ensure theprovision of high quality information, documentation and relatedinteractions with the Minister's Office.

AboutYouWe are seeking an experiencedleader with a proven ability to supervise and direct staff,fostering teamwork and cooperation. The ideal candidate will buildand maintain relationships with senior public servants and keystakeholders, enhancing the Minister's interactions bothwithin and outside their portfolio.

You will need tohave a strong understanding of political and policy contexts toprovide effective departmental advice, and possess exceptionalwritten and verbal communication skills. Organisational and timemanagement abilities are crucial, along with diplomacy, tact, andconfidentiality in handling sensitive issues.

The idealcandidate should demonstrate experience in identifying customerneeds and developing service strategies, managing office budgets,and a working knowledge of Freedom of Information legislation andparliamentary operations.

Requirements
Tertiaryqualifications in a relevant field will be highly regarded alongwith previous experience in an environment of similar complexityand size.

SpecialConditions
Prior toemployment the successful candidate will be required toprovide:
ANational Police Check (NPC). ADepartment for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check(WWCC) which is required to be renewed every five years beforeexpiry. Some out of hours andweekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiringovernight stays, may be required.

Details
Temporaryappointment up to 12 months. 

ASO8 -$119,317 to $123,822 per annum.
