Hillwood Berries (Queensland) is expanding our team. With the continued success of the business, we are now searching for an Office Manager/Executive Assistant to support our Managing Director, Farm Manager, and broader management team.Hillwood Berries Queensland forms part of Hillwood Farm Services, which grows and sells berries to our supplier Driscoll's. Hillwood Farm Services has been in the industry for over 10 years, with our success leading to expansions in QLD.The newly created Office Manager will be a pivotal role at Hillwood Berries Queensland, responsible for overseeing daily office operations while providing high-level administrative support to the Managing Director and broader management group.This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional capable of managing office functions and contributing to a positive work environment, ensuring the efficient functioning of the administrative and executive team.You will have the opportunity to make the role your own, with key responsibilities including:Oversee the day-to-day office operations, including office supplies and facility management.Develop and implement office policies, procedures, and systems to streamline administrative tasks.Liaise with and provide information to finance and payroll departments in Tasmania.Assist farm office requirements when needed.Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and Farm Manager, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and enabling communication within and external to the organisation.Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as requested by the Managing Director and Farm Manager.Facilitate and coordinate team meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.Liaise between the executive team and other departments to ensure efficient communication and information flow.Assist in expense tracking for office-related activities.Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation as needed.Support HR with the coordination of onboarding, training, and maintaining employee records.To be successful in the role you will need to be:Organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask.Experienced as an Office Manager, Executive Assistant, or in a similar administrative role.A strong written and verbal communicator.Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, email platforms, scheduling tools).Familiar with HR and financial processes is an advantage.Willing and able to work in a farming/horticulture environment.
