Office Coordinator / Receptionist 5 months temporary position Stunning offices | Sydney CBD Start date | ASAP $38 per hour + super We are currently seeking an energetic and highly organised Office Coordinator to join our client's fast-paced office environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious global engineering company based in the heart of Sydney CBD. Duties: Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to appropriate team members and managing correspondence effectively. Assist with ad hoc administrative tasks as requested, including scheduling, data entry, and document preparation. Manage relationships with suppliers and coordinate deliveries, handling any discrepancies or issues that arise. Oversee the booking system for meeting rooms, ensuring that rooms are scheduled appropriately, and conflicts are resolved. Prepare meeting rooms for scheduled events, including setting up equipment, arranging seating, and ensuring the space is clean and ready for use. Plan, organise, and execute work-related events, including team-building activities, corporate functions, and client meetings. Monitor and manage stock levels across all office areas, including stationery, kitchen supplies, and other essential materials. Assist with onboarding new employees, including preparing workstations, organizing orientation materials, and ensuring a smooth integration into the office environment. About you: Proven experience in a busy front desk or reception role, with strong office coordination skills. Ability to work effectively within a team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work atmosphere. Familiarity with office software and systems, including MS Office Suite and office management tools. Bring a positive, energetic, and engaging presence to the office, contributing to a lively and welcoming work environment.
