Job DescriptionYour new opportunity at the AFR. The Australian Financial Review is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join the team and provide support to the AFR Editor and Managing Editor as well as the AFR EA/Office Manager.
Day to day you will:
Provide administration support and action requests from the AFR Editor and Managing Editor in a professional, efficient and timely mannerSupport the AFR EA/Office managerExercise discretion when handling confidential or sensitive informationAssist on editorial projects as requiredOrganise meetings and staff functions (including venues, facilities, catering and resources required), and communicate to all relevant parties ahead of timeManage monthly expense reporting for the AFR editor and managing editorAssist EA with newsroom expenses and process invoicesProvide administrative support to the newsroomArrange travel and accommodationPrepare presentationsMaintain rosters and diary managementMonitor AFR inboxesMaintain archives, filing and order stationery.QualificationsEnough about us, let's talk about you. The successful candidate will be switched on, proactive, discreet and provide timely support to the Editor and Managing Editor.
In order to succeed in the role, you will ideally have:
