In this hybrid role, you'll spend most of your time managing crucial mailroom and print tasks, engaging in general office assistance, while also providing essential reception support. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key player in our vibrant workplace.The successful candidate will work from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility.Key Responsibilities include:Print & Mailroom Management:Handle all print and mailroom-related requests with precision and efficiency.Sort and distribute incoming mail, and manage deliveries.Schedule and oversee incoming and outgoing courier bookings.Perform scanning, photocopying, printing, collating, binding, and laminating tasks.Maintain all internal print room supplies.Facilitate court filing and document delivery to courts or client premises.Provide ad hoc administrative and facilities support duties as necessary.Reception Support:Greet and assist guests, visitors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.Manage and direct incoming calls to our national switchboard.Provide reception cover daily for lunch, tea breaks, and end-of-day closure.Coordinate and monitor meeting room booking requests.About youWe're seeking someone who excels in client service, with a strong focus on mailroom and print operations. You should be confident, well-presented, and committed to delivering exceptional work in every aspect of your role. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and a friendly nature are key. You should also be comfortable with physical tasks such as moving boxes and trolley delivery, and enjoy being busy in an energetic team environment.To be successful in this role you will have:At least 1 year experience working within a professional services environment (reception experience ideal).Professional presentation, reliability, and excellent organisational skills.The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and multi-task to meet deadlines.A proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Sound computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word & Excel.A dedicated work ethic and a desire to learn and grow.Maddocks is simply a great place to do great work.
