Join our vibrant team as an experienced Office Administrator within the Construction Industry. We are seeking a dedicated Administrator to join our growing Building Certification business. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring client satisfaction by efficiently managing processes. Previous experience in the Construction Industry and the ability to read and interpret construction plans will be highly regarded. Position: Due to strategic company growth, we are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Office Administrator to join our team on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the Construction Industry coupled with extensive client management and general office administrator experience.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:  Liaising professionally with clients, builders, architects, engineers and Local Government authoritiesReading and interpreting working drawingsManaging a busy incoming call systemResponding efficiently and professionally to clientsMaintaining accurate documentationProviding assistance to new clients with our processesLogging new applications onto our systemLodging approvals and final certificates onto councils online portalsProcessing certificatesBooking inspectionsFiling / internal data managementYou must be willing to hit the ground running and take ownership of the role.  You will be working alongside our Operations Manager to assist you in onboarding and training.
What we are looking for:  Experience within the residential building industry is highly advantageousKeen attention to detail and a high level of accuracyStrong organisational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively both within a team and independentlyAdaptable to changeExceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective interactions with stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with Visual Approvals will be highly regardedAbility to work unsupervised and follow instructions closelyA long term commitment and desire to grow with our company Communication is key - excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with homeowners, internal teams, builders and Local Government. You are also adept at identifying and addressing issues and have meticulous attention to detail in documentation.
