The Opportunity Bishops Transport is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Administrator/General Clerk to support the Broome Depot Manager on a full-time basis. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our administrative processes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate records, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various administrative tasks.
Tasks & Responsibilities Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail distribution.Assist management and staff with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries, assisting clients, and resolving issues in a friendly and professional manner.Work closely with the Depot Manager to ensure smooth operations.Entering data into relevant systems, generating reports, and maintaining accurate records.Other General Administrative Ad-Hoc Duties.Maintaining the office to high professional and high functioning standards.We are looking for a self-thinker who prides themselves on ensuring that the safety of both themselves and their peers is paramount. Skills & Experience An understanding of the transport and logistics industry.Previous experience in a similar role.Computer literacy and data entry skills - including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, responsibilities, and maintain efficient workflow.Accurate data entry and attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communication.Ability to problem solve within a busy environment.Ability to work autonomously and as part of a fast-paced team.If you are seeking a position that will support and provide you with an opportunity to develop your skill set and knowledge within administration, this will be the job for you.
