About the Role: The Mental Health Services team is looking for Occupational Therapists at AHP1 and AHP2 level to join their casual team, with opportunities to be considered for temporary or ongoing vacancies as they arise.
As the Occupational Therapist you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals with mental health conditions regain their independence and quality of life.
You will work closely with clients to assess their unique needs, develop personalised treatment plans, and implement interventions that focus on enhancing daily living skills, coping strategies, and overall mental well-being.
Applicants to this advertisement may be considered for positions at Flinders Medical Centre, Noarlunga Hospital, Repat Health Precinct, and GP + Centres.

Please Note: This position is multi-classed as either an AHP1 or AHP2 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
About you: Must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
Experience working with people who have a mental illness, their families and/or carer.
Clinical experience in direct service provision to clients experiencing mental illness and their carers.
Ability to provide occupational therapy assessments, work within a rehabilitation framework and develop and implement occupational therapy interventions for consumers within the team and area.
