About the Role Conduct thorough and inclusive evaluations of clients upon admission and as needed throughout their care to develop a tailored care plan aimed at reaching specific goals.
Offer Home Safety assessments and suggest Home Modifications when necessary to enhance independent living.
Collaborate with residents, their families, stakeholders, and fellow healthcare professionals, such as Allied Health Professionals, to address the therapy requirements of each resident and enhance or sustain their abilities and skills for engaging in daily activities, ultimately enhancing their overall quality of life.
Working with the Allied Health Team across the Community and Residential care setting to support our community with ageing/frailty needs.
About You Proven expertise and skill in utilising suitable treatment and evaluation techniques.
Prior involvement in a community or residential setting in the elderly care sector.
Proficiency in working jointly with a wide variety of individuals.
Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy with verified experience (or equivalent).
Current registration with AHPRA.
A valid South Australian driver's licence is required for this role.
Recent graduates are welcome to submit their applications.
Candidates may be subject to a pre-employment medical assessment with the successful candidate requiring current NDIS worker clearance.
In accordance with current health guidelines for the aged care sector, candidates are encouraged to have all recommended vaccinations.
