As a Therapy Mentor, you will be a consolidated or advanced clinician and will support teams to implement evidence-based disability practice in their hubs and areas.
You will be responsible for achieving clinical targets relevant to our Queensland hubs and will provide input into therapy plans, raise clinical concerns, provide solutions and support team members with learning and development activities.
You will also support with mentoring team members completing their induction program, including new graduates. You will promote the Everyday Independence Clinical Model and champion new practices developed by the leadership team.
To be successful in this role you will have: Demonstrated extensive previous experience in Occupational Therapy, in community-based settings, preferably providing supports in a disability settingTertiary qualified degree in Occupational Therapist, with current registration with AHPRA for clinical workStrong communication skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with key stakeholdersKnowledge of contemporary therapy practises and servicesCommitment to learning and developmentAbility to prioritise and influence – enabling the delivery of practical solutions within timelinesExperience in working with clinical strategy and working to targetsExperience or knowledge with risk prevention and managementAbility to compile, analyse and present statistical dataCommitment to achieving outcomes for people living with a disability and supporting them to reach their full potentialWWCC & NDIS ChecksCareer & Professional Development Operational or Clinical pathways to align with your passions & career goalsTherapy Consultants & mentors to guide you and build your skills & confidenceLimitless learning opportunities provided by industry leading cliniciansCareer coaches to guide and support you to realise your potentialProfessional practices to broaden your commercial understandingDedicated admin support so you can focus on doing your best workAbout Us
