In this role, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional occupational therapy services to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting independence, fostering personal growth, and facilitating meaningful engagement in daily activities. You will provide therapeutic engagement and coordination of care to a range of people receiving community-based mental health services.The community team Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive assessments and interventions for consumers who are experiencing concerns regarding occupational performance. Occupational Therapy adopts a sensory modulation approach to offer insight into an individual's level of functioning and provide non-pharmacological recommendations for reducing distress, maximizing functioning, and enhancing meaningful engagement.To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.About You:We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, with the shared purpose of making a difference in the lives of people experiencing challenges in mental health and well-being.Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.Check(s)National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position.Immunisation Risk for this position is – Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)Job Ref: 877417
