About Your Role The position of Paediatric Occupational Therapist provides management and coordination of ambulatory and community occupational therapy services for children within MLHD.
This position functions as part of the Allied Health Team within an ambulatory and community health setting. It provides a range of diagnostic, therapeutic and preventative Occupational Therapy services for children aged 0-18 years.
The Paediatric Occupational Therapist is responsible for developing and maintaining support networks, within the community, to promote a child's optimal level of performance in areas of self maintenance, productivity, rest and leisure.
The position promotes and maintains the health and well-being of children through professional best practice and the utilisation of multiple strategies to meet the needs of both the individual and the broader population.
