Job DescriptionThe opportunity:
We are looking for a Occupational Therapist to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary teams in a flexible part time capacity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide quality direct primary care Occupational Therapy services to children and youth with a range of presenting needs, in a family-centred, interdisciplinary framework. This includes assessment, individual and group programs, education, and support to parents.Work holistically to collaborate with parents, carers and/or significant others in the assessment, planning, and review of clients' programs and to advise about the options for management; including joint assessment and treatment with other paediatric health professionals.Develop and deliver project and grant-based activities, including School Readiness Funded Allied Health activities.Engage in multidisciplinary practice through care team meetings, case conferencing, professional development, group facilitation and other Child, Youth and Family programs.Work across Eltham and Box Hill Sites and outreach to schools and kindergartens.Desired Skills and ExperienceA Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent).Registration with Australian Health Practitioners' Regulation Authority (AHPRA).Relevant and recent experience as a practising Occupational Therapist.Experience working with a range of paediatric populations including with children and young people who have neurodevelopmental disorders or delays.Please apply here by submitting a cover letter addressing the key selection criteria with your CV.
