As a key member of our Mental Health team, you will play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based, recovery-oriented services tailored to the needs of our consumers and the local community.
Your expertise in occupational therapy will be instrumental in providing integrated clinical mental health care across various service settings, including community, acute, and rehabilitation.
You will have the opportunity to extend and expand your scope of practice in a vibrant rural setting.
Key Responsibilities: Utilise a range of occupational therapy approaches to offer comprehensive mental health care.Assist consumers, their carers, and families in making informed decisions about their care options.Develop strong therapeutic relationships to promote holistic care.Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive treatment plans.Access continuous professional development opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge. About You You must hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and be eligible for registration as an Occupational Therapist in Australia.Effective communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including one-on-one, group and health promotion activities and prioritise workloads.Creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a healthcare setting.Previous Mental Health experience desired (but not essential).Applicant Information The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
