Occupational Therapist – Medico Legal

We are proudly partnering with one of the national leaders in Occupational Rehabilitation and Injury Management who are growing their Medico-Legal team in Brisbane. If you are an OT with Medico-Legal experience (or an OT with 3-4 years Occ Rehab / Injury Mgt experience looking to move into Medico-Legal) we'd love to hear from you. This role comes with great flexibility + next to no travel, so no more extensive time spent on the road! Assessments are completed in office the majority of the time (inner north). There's great flexibility around choosing working hours that suit you, which is great if you have other commitments such as drop off/pickups for school or doggy day care! Work from home on your non-assessment days if you like. Options of either full time or 19 hours per week.

Our client has an enviable number of OTs working collaboratively, including some who focus purely on ADL and in-home functional assessments, which provides their Medico-Legal OT time to focus on specific areas of specialisation. The role will focus more on a smaller number of high-quality assessments and report writing of people who have been involved in major accidents at work and/or in car accidents. If you're someone who is looking to move away from extensive community travel, this role is for you. To be considered, it's essential you are an OT, either with previous experience in Medico-Legal work (ideally 12 months +) or 3-4+ years in Occ Rehab / Injury Mgt and looking to move into the field. Unfortunately, other health disciplines or candidates without full AHPRA registration cannot be considered. Salary range for this role is $95k - $110k + super based on experience.
