About Us
South West Healthcare's Infant Child and Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS) is a specialist service for young people aged 0-25yrs and their families. With three embedded specialist streams: Infant Child and Family for 0-11 years old, and the Youth Streams for 12–25-year-olds consisting of the intake and short-term intervention and ongoing care streams.
About the role
South West Healthcare's Infant Child and Family Service is seeking passionate and dedicated clinicians to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinical specialists. As we work together to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes for young people and their families.
Our Infant Child and Family team provides outreach service provision across the Southwest and are responsible to ensure the provision of evidence informed and developmentally appropriate treatment, care and support, in partnership with community-based services, primary health providers and the broader mental health and wellbeing sector, to infants and children aged 0-11 and their families.
The role requires you to use your clinical skills to provide:
Evidence based assessment.
Direct service provision to groups and individuals.
Primary and Secondary Consultation to mental health and wellbeing sector partners including General Practitioners, Paediatricians.
Community Development and Education as appropriate to the role.

What you bring
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent team building skills with experience in mental health clinical services an advantage.
Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills and initiative with proven ability to work autonomously as well as an ability to work with limited direction, be self-motivated, and provide effective problem-solving and negotiation skills.
You're proactive, flexible, and resilient and happy to work autonomously, use your initiative, and have a high attention to detail.
You will be an Occupational Therapist with a Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency.
Occupational Therapist Grade 2
Salary Range: $88,030.80 - $101,197.20 per annum, pro rata, plus superannuation
