The Role Provide therapy & interventions for NDIS participantsEngage & support participants to optimise the achievement of personal goalsProactively manage your caseload – many referrals are psychosocial disabilities & some physicalPerform Home, ADL & Functional Capacity AssessmentsComplete detailed notes & reportsAssistive technology & home modificationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary team and Allied Health Assistants to optimise participants' outcomesTravel to visit clients around Newcastle (&/or the Central Coast), referrals allocated as close to your home as possibleOption to work from home or in the Tuggerah officeProvide training & coaching to other team members (for Senior OTs) The Benefits Generous salary: $85-120K + Super, in line with your experienceBonus: Achievable bonus, paid monthlyTravel: $8000/year allowance - extra travel reimbursed in additionProfessional Development: regular in-house Professional Development & support with industry experts & leadersFlexibility: full-time or part-time role (3 or 4 days), flexible hoursReasonable targets: you will be provided with the support & resources to achieve reasonable targets of 6 hours/day, with leave taken into considerationManageable caseload: moderately sized caseload to allow you to focus on qualityTechnology: mobile & laptopRelocation allowance: tailored support to assist with your relocation costs Why do people love working here Administrative & managerial support to allow you to focus on therapy & supporting participantsOpportunity to collaborate with Allied Health Assistants, generally OT studentsWorking closely with a friendly & experienced team committed to qualityOption to specialise in your clinical area/s of interest or progress to a leadership role The Ideal Candidate AHPRA-Registered Occupational Therapist1-2 years'+ Clinical experience (NDIS & Mental Health experience valuable), motivated graduates warmly welcome to applyFocus on providing quality service & helping participants achieve outcomesProactive & flexible, you thrive working independently & as part of a teamExceptional communication skills & attention to detail Interested?
