Therapeutic support for children, adolescents and adults utilising neuroscience-informed practice; An innovative multi-disciplinary approach to intervention; The NEST Program for children and families Clinical supervision Trauma-informed training and professional development programs The Role Your role as a Nest Health Hub clinician will include:
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver neuroscience-informed interventions that support safety and regulation for children, adolescents and adults; Opportunity to be part of our innovative 'NEuroSensory Therapeutic (NEST) Program; a neurodevelopmental intervention that supports children and families develop the foundations for safety, regulation and attachment (comprehensive training in our Nest Program model of care is provided); Conduct multidisciplinary assessment and intervention with a focus on linking neurodevelopment with daily life functioning (training provided). Attend regular clinical case consultations with Psychologists and Occupational Therapists; Conduct video analysis (with a Psychologist and an Occupational Therapist) of therapy sessions to attune to cues of safety, regulation and connection of your clients which will then inform and guide treatment (training provided). Opportunity to be trained in delivering trauma-informed and play-based interventions within the Nest framework.
Supervision for these interventions is also provided. As a Nest Health Hub clinician, the work you will do is:

Measurable: We have a series of assessment measures that you will be trained in to be able to track changes in neurodevelopment. Each discipline has their role to play and we have developed our own model for each discipline to collaborate within the one framework. Reflective: Our approach allows ample space for reflective practice so you can be a reflective clinician and not a reactive one. Criteria: A relevant bachelor's degree in occupational therapy; Full registration with AHPRA; An interest and/or previous training and experience in providing trauma-informed interventions. An interest in providing neuroscience informed treatment An interest in supporting children, adolescents and families to repair from developmental trauma. Eligibility to provide services through Medicare and NDIS. Current Driver's Licence and own car with comprehensive insurance; Current National Criminal History Check and Working with Children Check.
