OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - PART TIME OR FULL TIME
IWC is seeking an accredited and registered Occupational Therapist for our Allied Health Professional team who is involved in primary/clinical care services delivered by the IWC.
This position is suitable for an experienced Occupational Therapist.

IWC is an Aboriginal community-controlled and multi-accredited health and wellbeing organisation that delivers services without discrimination to Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Bundaberg and the Wide Bay Burnett.
DUTIES:
Providing comprehensive assessment for clients with broad ranges of conditions.
Evidence based therapy intervention either individually or in a group setting.
Working closely with families and carers to develop therapy programs specific to individuals.
Working collaboratively with other allied health professionals.
PERSONAL SKILLS REQUIRED
High level communication skills.
Good health and physically fit.
Reliable and organised.
Sound problem-solving skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Genuine interest in people and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy.
Current AHPRA registration or ability to obtain.
A current driver's licence is essential or ability to obtain.
A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD) or ability to obtain.
A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.
* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work.
IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate.
SALARY PACKAGE:
Your Salary Package is made up of the following:
Salary Sacrifice Packaging is valued up to $15,990 per annum – adding up to $6,000 to your take-home pay.
Meals and Entertainment Package up to $2,600 per annum.
9-Day Fortnight (for full-time staff).
Professional Insurance.
Superannuation is valued at 11.5%.
Annual Leave Loading of 17.5% INTERVIEWS WILL COMMENCE ASAP.
