Our client takes a holistic approach to therapy, to provide an individualised support service where clients live, work and play. Their passionate multi disciplinary team are rapidly growing and expanding across Western Victoria to help support more individuals work towards and achieve their goals.
About The Role
We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for a new community role in Shepparton!
In this role you will work as part of a broader multidisciplinary team, providing assessments and effective therapeutic interventions that have a focus on building functional capacity. Also enjoy developing therapy plans with the goal of improving life satisfaction, function, and better social/community participation.
Work with a broad range of clientele where they live, work, learn and play, including their homes, workplace, or schools, as well as out in the broader community. See clients aged from 2-65 years, all under the NDIS. You will have the opportunity to tailor the caseload to suit your clinical interests and expertise.
Benefits
$85K - $105K (depending on exp). + super + 5 weeks annual leave5 weeks of annual leave2 weeks of study/CPD leave per year, plus a $2,500 budget for study/CPD.Weekly SV during induction.Weekly SV after induction for graduates and 2nd year OT's.Fortnightly SV after induction for 3rd year and beyond.Flexible work arrangements (currently, all our FT OTs either work 8 or 9-day fortnights)
About You
Tertiary qualification in Occupational TherapyAHPRA registrationA passion for assisting clients to reach their full potentialA high level of written and verbal communication skillsStrong documentation skills Exceptional time management skillsA learning mindset with a desire to challenge your existing perceptionEnthusiasm to grow and expand your knowledge, skill-set and careerCurrent drivers licence and registered vehicleNDIS Worker CheckEligible to work permanently in Australia
