Your role at St John of God Social Outreach We have an opportunity available for an Occupational Therapist (Grade 2) to join our Mental Wellbeing Service at Ballarat, on a permanent part-time basis.
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of innovative programs that provide high-level clinical care to consumers.
The Position Provision of an Occupational Therapy treatment at a senior level.Completion of comprehensive mental health assessment and risk assessment.Provision of a comprehensive treatment plan within a brief intervention model of care.In conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team, client goals and outcomes are regularly monitored and reviewed.Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties. This requires liaison with the administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of progress notes.You will have demonstrated knowledge and skills in assessment, treatment and evaluation, effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Successful applicants will have tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Must be eligible for a Medicare provider number. Above all, client care will be at the core of everything you do and reflective of our Mission and Values.
