Position: Occupational Therapist - Community-Based - Mix/Adult/Paed Caseloads to choose from - New Grad/Limited Registration is welcome!
Salary: $80K to 120K per annum + super + travel allowance + CPD allowance of $1500 per year for FTE (pro rata)
Work Hours: FT / PT positions available, 9 am to 5 pm (flexible with a work-life balance policy allowing work from home)

Once on board, you will receive support to consolidate your skills and become a confident therapist working in the private sector. Most of your therapeutic interventions will be provided in the client's home or at the practice in Prospect. They provide a flexible work environment that allows for a good work-life balance.
Your Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited To: Assessing and providing interventions for children & adults living with a range of disabilitiesWorking within the NDIS to maximize clients' level of function, capacity & social engagementAssisting clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications (in relevant fields)Timely documentation & report writingManaging a varied caseloadMeeting company professional expectations (e.g. meeting billables & effective client management)Attending meetings, supervision & personal development (as required)Building relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, & referral sourcesWorking across leading software platforms & online toolsPosition Criteria: Interest in working with people living with disabilities using holistic family-centred approachesExperience (desirable but not essential) working within the NDIS systemDemonstrated organisational and time management skillsAbility to work both independently and within a teamAble to work flexibly (and have fun along the way!)A desire to provide community/school assessments and interventionsCapable of building long-term relationships with clientsPassionate about quality service delivery and inspiring clients to lead meaningful livesExcellent communication and report writing skillsAbility to work autonomously where required, with exceptional skills working within a teamHighly organised and efficientCurrent driver's licenseCurrent Police Check and current Working with Children Check (WWCC)Benefits and Perks Offered Include: Shadowing opportunities working alongside other cliniciansInternal and external opportunities for professional development (permanent employees)Provided with a work car, laptop, work phone, and tabletFlexibility and great work-life balanceNew graduates and limited registration are welcome to apply!
