Your exciting new role: Choose hours and days that suit you – part time or school hours (minimum 3 days) or full timeVisit clients in the local Albany communityPerform assessments in clients' homes and workplaces with respect to physical, sensory, cognitive and psychological functional needsPlan, implement and evaluate person centred care plans and intervention programs in line with client's goalsPrescribe equipment and recommend modifications including the use of assisted technologyCreate holistic care plans, write detailed progress notes and seek and apply for fundingProvide advice, education and training to clients and their familiesCollaborate with the multi-disciplinary team and external agencies to ensure holistic careSupport, train and supervise OTAs, OT students and volunteersWhat makes this great: Work / life balance and flexibility - option to work full time or part time or school hoursSponsorship can be provided for the right candidateTransfer your skills from another sector into the booming disability industryReceive support from Senior Occupational Therapists and be provided with professional and personal development opportunities$46 - $50 an hour + super + salary packaging + leave loading + relocation assistanceAbout you: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA as an Occupational TherapistAble to conduct thorough assessments, create care plans, prescribe equipment and recommend home modificationsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients and familiesVibrant, adaptable and have a passion for working with people with neurological conditionsKnowledge of NDIS and other funding models is ideal but not essentialWhat next:
