About the Role
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing community based occupational therapy interventions for a wide range of client groups including those receiving:
Commonwealth Home Support Funding Home Care Package Funding National Disability Insurance Services Funding Private Fee for Service Clients Services include, but are not limited to:
Home based occupational therapy assessments including all areas of activities of daily living, mobility, and home safety Client assessment, intervention and report writing Equipment applications for government equipment programs Minor and major home modification recommendations with relevant diagrams Communicating assessed needs clearly and precisely to clients Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant degree with minimum 1yr experience Registered Occupational Therapist with Occupational Therapy Board and AHPRA (and ability to maintain registration) Current C or CA class Driver's license (QLD) Core Competencies:
Competent to assess client needs and develop appropriate plans for interventions and equipment for clients Ability to develop and provide reports relevant to the role Capacity to implement recommendations Professionally work with internal and external stakeholders to meet client needs The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate entitlement to work in Australia, and to disclose any pre-existing injury or disease which may be adversely affected by undertaking the inherent requirements of the position.

All offers of employment are subject to the satisfactory completion of relevant screening and background checks, including an Australian Federal Police check, an NDIS disability worker screening check, and attainment of a Blue Card for working with children, prior to commencement.
