Job Description We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy
to support Activities of Daily Living Assessment
for individuals as a result of work-related injury or illness in Wollongong
area.
As part of Activities of Daily Living Assessments
, you will: Assess an individual's Personal, Domestic, and Community ADL's, and identify recommendations for services, support, and/or assistive equipment; Complete equipment trials in person with your clients, to ensure this recommendation is safe and appropriate for the Injured Worker, as well as prompting independence in their day-to-day life; Educate our clients and Injured Workers to complement recommendations for support, and/or assistive equipment.
Qualifications You'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
registered with AHPRA;
Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded; Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!
; Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy; It's the kind of career where well-developed time management skills are a must & plus!
; A current NSW Driver's License
and access to own car
