Great opportunity to take a team lead role for a very well established Occupational hygiene group. Local business with global reach.
Position: Leader of Newcastle Occupational Hygiene and Hazmat Consulting Team

Purpose: Drive technical excellence, innovation, and client satisfaction while fostering continuous growth and development.

Responsibilities: Guide, mentor, and inspire a team of consultants.Support professional development plans.Cultivate a culture of teamwork, innovation, and passion.Collaborate with the national team to execute local initiatives.Coordinate with NSW manager and team leaders to achieve targets.Manage small to medium-scale projects.Oversee project delivery and team development.Empower senior staff to drive high performance and contribute to business development.Develop business strategies and market action plans.Prepare proposals and lead projects to meet budget and strategic goals.Uphold and champion a strong safety culture.Requirements: Extensive experience in hazmat and/or occupational hygiene consulting.Open to feedback and continuous improvement.Professional demeanour under pressure.Advanced experience in assessing workplace hazards, risk management, and project scope management.Proven track record in business development and proposal writing.Skilled in staff management or willingness to develop these skills.Relevant professional certifications and ongoing training in SHEQ, project management, and client-centricity.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Applied Science, Environmental Engineering, Building Surveying, or Occupational Health and Safety.About You: You are a seasoned professional with a passion for leadership and innovation in occupational hygiene and hazmat consulting. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to driving excellence and client satisfaction.

Salary to circa $155K
