Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise in policy development and change management can make a significant impact? In this 9 month maximum term contract as the Obligations and Policy Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in refining our compliance framework and policies, ensuring they are both robust and user-friendly. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our compliance obligations register and supporting the delivery of efficient and effective compliance training across the organization.Your day will see you:Refine Compliance Frameworks: Enhance the clarity and usability of HESTA's compliance framework, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.Manage Obligations Register: Develop and maintain robust practices for managing HESTA's compliance obligations register.Deliver Compliance Training: Support the design and delivery of comprehensive compliance training programs.Develop Data Insights: Utilize data analytics to provide insights and support decision-making processes.Reporting: Prepare and present compliance reports to management and the board, highlighting key insights and areas for improvement.Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement changes to drive efficiency.Provide Compliance Support: Offer expert advice and support on compliance-related matters across the organization.About you:Proven experience in technical writing, policy development and change management.Experience in and knowledge of the superannuation industry.Strong data analytics skills to develop actionable insights.Ability to craft audience-relevant content and deliver human-centered business change.Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver effective training.A proactive approach to driving continuous improvement and innovation.Benefits that matter and make a difference for our employeesLeave for those moments that matter: An additional 6 days of leave at the end of year, up to 6 days paid volunteer leave, gender neutral paid parental leave of 20 weeks, Gender Affirmation leave, reproductive health and wellbeing leave, Cultural and Ceremonial leave.
