DescriptionJob Summary: Performs specific clinical care duties in Obstetrics to include scrubbing and assisting for Cesarean Sections and assisting at vaginal births, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse.
Position includes maintaining supplies and light housekeeping duties.

Completion of a surgical assistant program or military equivalent preferred.
Certification/Licensure: Surgical Technician certification preferred.
BLS required and Basic NRP required within the first year of hire date.
Experience Requirements: Technician experience in a hospital setting with previous scrub experience preferred.
Previous obstetric experience preferred.
