Job Summary:
We're looking for an experienced and skilled Telecommunications Civil Team Lead to oversee our civil construction teams on remote FIFO projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of civil engineers and technicians on telecommunications infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of civil labourers and contractors on FIFO projects Plan, coordinate and supervise civil construction activities Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies Manage project timelines, budgets and resources Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders Conduct site inspections and audits Implement quality control measures Develop and maintain client relationships Requirements: 5+ years of experience in telecommunications civil construction Proven leadership and management experience Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure Knowledge of Australian standards and regulations Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Relevant qualifications (e.g., Certificate IV in Civil Construction, Diploma of Project Management) Ability to work in remote locations on a FIFO basis Valid Australian driver's license Desirable Qualifications: Experience with fiber optic cable installation Knowledge of NBN, Telstra or other telecommunications networks Certification in Workplace Health and Safety What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work on high-profile projects Professional development and growth opportunities Collaborative and dynamic work environment FIFO benefits, including: 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster Flights and accommodation provided Meal allowance and other benefits How to Apply: If you're a motivated and experienced civil leader looking for a new challenge, please submit your resume and cover letter to ******.
