Providing operational management, co-ordination and leadership of a local multidisciplinary team in the provision of quality client centred care services to Aboriginal, Guardianship of the Minister and vulnerable young people as defined in the MYH Model of Care and operational documents.Ensuring the MYH change management process is implemented at a local level.Providing professional supervision for all level 2 Nurses/Midwives and Aboriginal Clinical Health Workers within their team.Ensuring MYH meets required organisational safety and quality standards for a multidisciplinary specialist youth primary health care service.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post registration experience in at least one of the following areas; young people, Aboriginal health, community health, disability or complex health, drug and alcohol, sexual health services.Experience in leading within a change environment utilising multidisciplinary team leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, negotiation skills and time management in a complex and changing environment.Demonstrated ability to relate to people from a diverse range of cultural and social backgrounds and to effectively manage a multidisciplinary team.Demonstrated ability to work with clients to achieve positive health outcomes and create a workplace environment that develops staff potential.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with organisational leadership and contribute to a positive culture through supporting and implementing change management strategies.What WCHN Can Offer You Salary package a range of benefits (including living expenses such as mortgage, rent, utility bills and groceries) up to $9,010 each FBT year + $2,650 for Meal Entertainment expenses each FBT year.Access to Fitness Passport (workplace health and fitness program that gives you and your family access to a wide choice of gyms and pools across South Australia.)Free Public Transport for SA Health Metropolitan Hospital Workers.Access to generous leave provisions and professional development opportunities.Support for you and your family via our Employee Assistance Program.You may be eligible for financial support if you are considering relocating from interstate or overseas.
