Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, Rural Support Service - iCCnet SA, Tonsley Administration Building, Bedford Park Salary:  RN/M3 $121,537 to $126,970 p.a.
Temporary Full-time position working up to 27 June 2025 What we are seeking: A dedicated and experienced Nurse Consultant who'll provide advanced cardiac nursing and/or midwifery services.
Your key mission will be to provide your expert and patient-centred acute cardiac advice and secondary prevention to patients and health professionals across regional and rural South Australia.
This includes a cardiac rehab telephone service to people who've had a cardiac event, including myocardial infarction (MI), revascularisation procedures, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve surgery, arrythmia management etc.
You'll be part of small, passionate team who work alongside each other and collaborate to get the best for their patients, with all your efforts together focused on these important goals: Reducing emergency department presentations and hospital admissions for clients with cardiac disease.
Helping vulnerable groups of people effectively access and use health services.
Decreasing the length of stay for cardiac patients admitted to South Australia's regional hospitals.
Improving, in general, regional patients' access to health services.
Enabling timely transfers from metropolitan health services back to the community.
Essential Qualifications and Experience: Current cardiovascular experience.
In-depth knowledge of the cardiac rehabilitation model of care within South Australia's regional Local Health Networks.
Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
