Prince of Wales Hospital - Nurse Educator Telestroke Service
Are you passionate about enhancing person-centred care and advancing telestroke practices? We are seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to join our Telestroke team and help improve stroke care. This contract may be extended. What You'll Be Doing:

The NSW Telestroke Service (TSS) Nurse Educator is responsible and accountable for the development and ongoing delivery of an education package to support the referring sites for the statewide Telestroke Service. In partnership with the NSW Telestroke Working Group and The Telestroke Model of Care & Education Sub-Group, this position will take a lead role in developing and delivering the education components of the TSS. TSS is a statewide service; this position is based at Prince of Wales Hospital and will be mobilised to travel to the referring sites in regional and rural NSW to support ongoing assessment of educational need and education delivery. A significant portion of contact with referring sites will be undertaken from POWH via Skype.
Being based at Prince of Wales Hospital, the TSS Nurse Educator and the POWH Stroke Clinical Nurse Educator will work closely in partnership to ensure alignment and realisation of common objectives. This position will also form close relationships with Stroke/Neurology/Neurosurgery Clinical Nurse Educators at referring sites, where applicable.
