Based in our Albury clinics, at both Albury Wodonga Health and our North East Health Wangaratta clinic rooms, a 5 month contract opportunity exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our friendly and collaborative team.
You will be rostered Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7am – 6pm, with on call requirement.
Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine/PET including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who is willing to learn in a busy private practice and hospital settings.
This position could be suited to a new graduate or a more established Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to: Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards Our Ideal Nuclear Medicine Technologist To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine Applicants must be AHPRA Registered and hold a NSW/VIC radiation license Life at I-MED Radiology Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and career advancement.
