Nsw - Trainee Hseq Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HSEQ Advisor starting out in their career to join our NSW and ACT team.
This role will operate out of any of our NSW offices and will be responsible for supporting operations in NSW and the ACT metro and regionally along with the rest of the HSEQ Team.
Reporting into the Group HSEQ Manager you will provide support to our wider Active team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards across the board.
This role will see you both in the field and office, partnering closely with State and Operations Managers to embed positive safety behaviors and build HSEQ awareness within field crews.
Duties & Responsibilities: Monitoring and maintaining oversight of Auditing and other Compliance checks Preparing Toolbox talks and Incident Alerts Regular and adhoc reporting including assistance with tendering.
Participation in Major and Critical incidents review and resolutions Liaising with external suppliers and regulators The successful candidate will receive both formal and on the job training.

What we need for you: Unrestricted and current Driver's License (with a willingness to travel on a frequent basis within NSW and the ACT) Cert IV WHS ( highly desirable ) White Card Ability to build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships Ability to prioritise and manage multiple stakeholders.
Strong ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power-point and Outlook) desirable with a willingness to learn and improve.
