Position Overview:
1 year traineeship, 7 hours per week with possible extension. Located at Grafton. Embark on a journey of learning and discovery with us.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct data collection and laboratory procedures under supervision. Manage equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and repairs. Record and transfer data accurately, contributing to databases and spreadsheets. Assist in preparing scientific outputs like graphs and data summaries. Adhere to departmental policies on ethics, safety, and biosecurity. Key Challenges: Conduct field sampling in remote locations under varying conditions. Manage an intensive and variable fieldwork or hatchery schedule. Maintain expertise in monitoring ecosystems and aquaculture systems. Essential Requirements: School Certificate (Year 10) or equivalent. Willingness to pursue Certificate II in Conservation, Aquaculture, or Fisheries Compliance. Ability to Obtain Senior First Aid, NSW Driver License (Manual), and Boat License. Ready to work in diverse environments. Applying is Easy!
