The Opportunity We seek an experienced Contracts/Procurement Coordinator, ideally with a tertiary qualification in procurement. You are no stranger to documenting processes and guidelines, and you come with functional IT skills including the use of MS Office suite. You have a demonstrated ability playing a key part in the effective and efficient end to end "Order to Delivery" management of the delivery of goods and services to end users.
As the Contracts/Procurement Coordinator, you will be responsible for a range of procurement/commercial related activities, including analysing submission documents, drafting contracts, and developing strategies to achieve cost benefits. While aged or health care experience is not essential, it will be highly regarded.
To be successful in the role, you will have: Demonstrated experience in negotiating and managing various contracts Experience in contract, procurement and tendering procedures Proven experience in achieving cost reductions and savings targets Demonstrated ability to assist in the identification and development of recommendations to improve procurement outcomes including analysing business spend and proposing strategies to consolidate and reduce costs Sound computer literacy skills in a Microsoft office / Windows environment Demonstrated high level communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills Ability to apply effective problem solving, analytical and negotiating skills.
