About the role Due to continued growth, Northeast Group are seeking experienced Motor Mechanics to join our Burton dealership. These are full time, permanent positions.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, repairing, servicing and reporting on cars in our Light Vehicle workshop in line with Job Cards.
You will also be responsible for:
Analysing and diagnosing mechanical problems The planning of jobs and ordering the required parts Completion of all paperwork regarding work performed Mentoring apprentices and assisting with their development Maintaining a commitment to safety in the workplace Used Truck rebuild/refurbishments The successful candidate will possess Trade qualification in motor mechanics (dual trade advantageous) Extensive industry experience Fabricating and Truck rebuild/refurb experience Proven ability in technical diagnosis and repair of machinery Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and problems Ability to repair or replace mechanical parts Ability to identify specific parts or components Driver's licence (plus HV Licence advantageous) Hydraulic experience (desirable) AC Ticket (desirable) What we can offer you We offer career growth and opportunities within the business and are prepared to pay the best rates for the right experience and attitude.
